Our protagonist is a conenience store clerk. One of his Customers, Mero, has just the looks he’s going for, so he tries asking her out, but gets rejected. A few weeks later he catches her red-handed trying to shoplift. In order to get out of it, she offers services.

Trailer

Technical

Electron… This is the first time I’ve encountered electron as a VN “engine”. It’s servicable and works well, so no real complaints, but I can understand why the developer moved to RenPy with his later game “Accidental Hypnosis”. The menus feel like HTML pages, with all the stiltedness involved, but it’s perfectly servicable, and I’ve seen way worse in other VNs using both Unity and RenPy.

Translation

Looking at the game updates, it seems that this game was English first, then getting a Japanese translation later, and my Japanese isn’t good enough that I can evaluate it in that direction, so I’ll just leave it at the English being perfectly fine. (I am very confused as to why “Accidental Hypnosis” has Mosaic censorship if this developer isn’t Japanese… but stranger things have happened with adult games I guess)

Voicework

None. Everything is SFX and BGM. Works reasonably well, but the dev could probably just catch someone at fiverr to at least give like 5-6 generic voice bytes when the game is this short.

Sexual Content

This is as simple as it gets, collection of CGs that are unlocked rapidly as you go along, and a bit of overuse of sexual sounds. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to get overly offended over. Perfectly servicable.

Controversial Content

You’d be hard pressed to form controversy around this one. She is the mover in the scenario, the MC is resisting until she basically forces herself on him. Only way you get offended at this one is if you’re looking to get offended.

Overall Review

So, sum total… It’s fine. It’s servicable.

The art looks very touched by AI, but unlike the later game, I’m less certain about which parts are affected by AI. Again though, looks like single dev, and he/she looks to be doing some experimentation to figure out what works, as shown in the transition between this and the later game. I’d say the use of AI to fill holes in competency is perfectly justified here as it was with the later game.

Besides that, this is just middle of the road. BGM is servicable, CG is servicable, Story is servicable… everything is perfectly servicable, but nothing stands out. The game length is also very short. I spent time checking something online, and checking up on what engine was being used for this game, with the game open, and it still clocked in on 39 minutes. The price matches the content though, so everything seems fair and servicable.

Unlike the later game, I won’t give this a glowing recommendation, but if you’re in the market for a quick and relatively enjoyable experience, this one will do the job reasonably well.
